We go through life wondering our life’s purpose and tend focus on several earthly things trying to make ourselves feel better. We yearn for success through school, work and happiness through husbands, wives, children, friends and relatives. These too disappoint us at times as many are undependable.

Many of our minds are on an endless journey pondering what, when, where and how to improve our lives and that of our loved ones. I too was in this maze until I listened to one preacher whose message had a pivotal change on my life. This ‘man of God’s’ message was about understanding why God created man and what has become of man today and how we can reclaim back our position in the eyes of God.

According to Genesis 1:26 on wards, man was created to rule over the earth and all creation. Man was given authority to subdue the earth and make if fruitful. We are born leaders, we reign with God and he has given us full authority and power over all creation. However, because of sin – refer to the fall of man in Genesis we fell from this rightful position of leadership and gave the devil a chance to steal some of our control. We are therefore in a constant power struggle with the enemy in a bid to reclaim back our position – at the helm. This is a fact that each human should know so as to understand the need to constantly fight sin in our lives.

Key among the techniques used by devil to steal our Authority is fear, worry, greed, self pity to mention but a few. When I look back at my last 30 years on earth, I was a timid, shy and quiet person. I lacked confidence and being from a humble family, I always felt intimidated by schoolmates that had wealthy parents. I always wanted their parents to be mine. The devil used those to successfully steal my authority thus limiting me in a way. Probably I would have achieved more by now had I fully understood the reason God created me.

Many people have or are still going through the same precarious situation as mine, I call out to you with a message of hope that the time is now for you to reclaim your authority as a leader. Drop all the negative feelings of self pity, fear, inferiority complex , worry and others. All these are from the devil, its his plot to steal your authority and success in the long run. God’s word has constant messages of encouragement to us all, it calls for us to approach his throne with confidence and also says that the kingdom of God is taken by the violent. Confidence, Joy, Peace, faith and all other beautiful aspects are from God and as leaders these go along way in reinforcing us. Cut off all negative energy today, look more to God’s guidance and have confidence that He has your back and try out something ambitious that you’ve always feared. I have actually enrolled for a leadership course at my local church to gain confidence to preach the word of God to others so as to bring a positive change in their lives. I already feel the confidence. I now feel limitless and ambitious….I encourage you to; take back your God given power and authority and change this world for the better……..
